And Senator Marsh’s Alabama School Choice and Student Opportunity Act, a.k.a. the Charter School Bill, has a companion in the House.
Representative Terri Collins (R-Decatur) has filed HB192, which appears to be identical to the substitute introduced during the public hearing of SB45 during the Senate’s Education and Youth Affairs Committee meeting on Wednesday.
(Psssst: if anyone wants to help eyeball whether there are differences between the two bills, your assistance is welcome.)
The vote on SB45 is expected in the full chamber of the Senate on Tuesday.
