The Alabama State Department of Education released the results of the 2015 ACT Aspire results on Thursday.

Alabama’s public school students have taken the ACT Aspire for two years now.

Be responsible with the information provided. Schools and students and teachers are more than test scores.*

UPDATE 11/24/15: The table below was modified to (1) display the color scale and (2) standardize the color scale from 0.0% to 100.0%. Prior to this date, a scale was calculated for each subgroup based on the range of actual results. We apologize for any confusion.

*There are a few issues with the 2014-2015 data. The spreadsheet provided by the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) had a few inconsistencies. For a number of districts, the percentage of students in “General Education” was zero. That appears to be a reporting problem.

The ALSDE chooses to display an asterisk (“*”) in the test results where the number of students within a subgroup is less than 10. Rather than display “less than 10”, we chose to leave the result blank.

The categories of Free Meals, Reduced Meals, and Fully Paid Meals were used in 2013-2014 but not in 2014-2015.
