Alabama School Connection Tableau Public profile

Data forms the foundation for a lot of what I write about here on the Alabama School Connection news site. I’ve been pondering how to get all the data in one place, and I realized that a lot of it is already in one place: on my profile at the Tableau Public site.

So here it is. Every data visualization I’ve ever put together is at that link.

You can find every data article published on the site in the “Data and Accountability Center” category, linked here, but also in the top menu under “Category”.

And check out the Alabama State Department of Education’s Plan 2020 Dashboards with information on the various measures used in Plan 2020, the ALSDE’s strategic plan.

While it’s great to view the data, sometimes you just wanna get your hands on it. Trust me, I understand.

In many (most, I hope) of the data articles, you’ll find spreadsheets used to create the data visualizations near the bottom of the page. I’m working to pull all of the spreadsheets into one place and hope to get that completed soon.
